Nathan Kilby, son of local couple Brian and Margret Kilby, who is completing his final year of his Saw Doctoring apprenticeship with Highland Pine Products, was recently awarded top Honours Certificate from Tumut TAFE recognising his achievements in his final year of TAFE studies. Nathan was presented with tools of trade from Phoenix Supply Company and an award from High land Pine Products. Both David Knights General Manager of Highland Pine Products and Geoff Oxley Operations Manager congratulated Nathan on his efforts which is testimony for all hours and travel put in to attending TAFE in Tumut on a block release program over 3 years. Nathan would like to thank his fellow tradesman for their support while learning his trade which has opened the door to a career in the timber industry. A high light of the presentation was Nathans proud Father looking on who is also a saw doctor at Highland Pine.
